Baby joy! Eddie Murphy is about to be a dad for the nineth time! His girlfriend Paige Butcher is pregnant and the couple is said to be thrilled about it. Eddie will be able to field an entire baseball team of his progeny at this point.

Congrats are in store for Eddie Murphy, 54, and his girlfriend of three years Paige Butcher, 36. The Aussie model is pregnant with the couple’s first child, but it will be Eddie’s ninth bundle of joy! It’s a good thing Eddie loves being a parent, because he sure has had a lot of practice! The couple will welcome their new baby in spring 2016.

Eddie had five children with ex-wife Nicole Murphy, 47, who he divorced in 2006 after 22 years of marriage. Their kids – Bria, Myles, Shayne, Zola and Bella – range in age from 25 to 13. He also has an 8-year-old daughter, Angel Iris Murphy Brown from a short-lived romance with former Spice Girl Mel B, 40. Eddie also has two other children from prior relationships, a son Eric, 26, by Paulette McNeely and another son, Christian, 25, by Tamara Hood.

‘He couldn’t be happier. Eddie really is a family man and loves all of his children, so he’s so excited about having another one on the way,” a source close to the Dream Girls star told the Daily Mail. They added “Even though he has eight children by four different women, they all come together on holidays and for sporting events and hang out at his mansion as one big blended family. ”

Eddie has the definition of a modern family, as all of his exes and children are super close. “All of the children love each other dearly and the women, having all moved on with their own relationships, co-exist very well together”‘ the Mail’s source added.
