Charlie Sheen's Two and a Half Men co-star Jenny McCarthy says she DESERVED to know he had HIV


The actress played one of Charlie Harper's lovers in the sitcom - and has suggested she should have been told

Jenny McCarthy has claimed Charlie Sheen should have told her he was HIV-positive when they starred together in Two And A Half men.
The former Playboy model - who played Charlie Harper's on-off girlfriend in the sitcom - has suggested the actor should have informed the women playing his lovers on the show.
Discussing the star's recent revelation , she said on Sirius XM: "Now being on Two and a Half Men myself, I feel like in playing a love interest, you would think there would be some type of, I don't want to say criminal issue, but I don't even know how to feel about that."

The star - who appeared on the show multiple times between 2007 and 2011 - went on to say that while she has "sympathy" for Charlie, has had to "take major accountability" for a lot of people "in his life".
She added: "If I have to be upfront about a herpe how could you not be upfront about HIV? I look back and I'm like, 'OK, that would have been some valuable information.' I mean look how many people have played his love interest on the show…

"I have sympathy for him because he's sick and it's awful, but man he's going to have to take major accountability for many people in his life."

However, Charlie's lawyer has responded to her comments in a statement to PEOPLE.
It read: "Charlie was infected long after he left Two and a Half Men and long after he worked with Jenny​."
The pair appeared together in eight episodes, while the actor - who claims he was diagnosed after his run on the sitcom - went on to star in Anger Management from 2011 to 2013.
